Enhanced visibility of contract scheduled changes
Contract scheduled changes are a critical piece of the subscription management flow. Both end users or company administrators and marketplace managers have a keen interest in managing contract scheduled changes.
Appdirect platform allows users to schedule a contract change based on their product configuration. However, if a user makes a change when a scheduled change exists, the platform overrides the scheduled change. Previously, users were not able to see their scheduled changes which led to users losing their scheduled changes without their knowledge, and in some cases had financial impacts on partners.
With this enhancement, the platform will:
- Display the scheduled changes on the marketplace (in the Order History tab when viewing an order).
- Display a dialog on the User Interface (UI) to alert users who are making a change to their subscription about the scheduled change, including -
- The date of the change.
- The details of the change (product name, edition name, quantity).
- The cost of the change.
- Inform users through email notifications when -
- A subscription change is scheduled.
- A scheduled subscription change is removed.
- Subscription cancellation is scheduled.
- A subscription scheduled cancellation is removed.
- Add new logs (administrator and activity logs) to inform both end users or company administrators (activity logs) and marketplace managers (administrator logs) when -
- A subscription change is scheduled.
- A scheduled subscription change is removed.
- Subscription cancellation is scheduled.
- A subscription scheduled cancellation is removed.
